turn around and leave without a word.

Like that at least in my ears will ring forever

the nothingness that came out of you,

the emptiness of your will

the senselessness of your silence.

But at least it’s not a voice to haunt me,

it’s not a word to burn my soul,

so turn and leave without “goodbye”.

The door despite, leave open,

so someone else can come instead

to start that cycle, and run in to the same end.
